The plaque and bacterium are one of the few reasons for decaying tooth and other related problems. The enamel over the teeth is removed when acid is excreted by bacteria. Once the outside layer starts decaying, it spreads to the underlying layer called dentin as well. This layer is more prone to infections, plaque and bacteria. This may affect interior root of the teeth as well, which might lead to removal of tooth. However, in some of the cases it is seen that cracks and even fractures are also developed. It is better to undergo treatment by a certified and authentic dentist in the initial stage without compromise.
