The loss of molar or pre molar in the jaw makes it difficult to undergo dental implantation. It might even get worse if sinus pocket is damaged. The sinus lift is desired procedure that helps in adding bone to the affected area, which helps in providing stability for placing an implant. The dentist accesses the affected molar or pre molar and access opening is created. This opening ensures that synthetic or sterile bone material can be settled. The sinus tissue is lifted upwards in such a manner that bone material is packed beneath. The access opening is covered with membrane and is allowed to heal. The sinus allows bone material to solidify and gets permanently settles in bone tissue. Once healing is complete, stability and strength of the natural bone comes in to being.
