When it comes to restoring your appearance and replacing the missing teeth in your mouth, while providing improved overall function for eating and speechbar-retained overdenture with dental implants is just the right treatment! The overall process takes time and requires the patient visiting multiple times to the dentist. As part of the procedure, the dentist is going to create a removable prosthesis, which will be placed in the mouth containing replacement teeth. To give a natural looking feel and exact fit over the gums, these teeth are mounted in a base made of pink resin. The implant is fixed using clips underneath that securely attach to metal bar fixed in place. The process involves the dentist taking an impression of the area, to create temporary dentures. Diagnostic images are taken to plan out the further implantation. Once the implants are placed, the monitoring of the area continues as long as complete healing does not take place. Once fully healed, impressions of the mouth are again taken, which are used to create your support bar and final overdenture. Once all that is done, the overdenture placed onto the bar and final adjustments are made to complete the process and give you a removable restoration specially designed to replace your natural teeth!
