Screw retained dentures with dental implants improve the appearance of an individual who has lost teeth. These are used to replacethe missing teeth and require multiple appointments with the dentist.
During these appointments, the dentist is going to design your dentures and place them in the mouth. The denture is placed using a base made of pink resin to create an exact fit over your existing gums. Dental implants are used to secure the dentures in mouth that help to preserve the surrounding bone from shrinking over time without a tooth.
As the first step of the process the dentist is going to place temporary dentures in mouth and take diagnostic images of the area to plan out the placement of future implant. At the same time, the area is prepared. Once prepared abutments are secured into the implants on which the temporary dentures are going to be secured. Monitoring of the implant will be carried out during subsequent visits, while the next phase in the process is planned out. On complete healing of the implant; a final impression of mouth is taken to create your final dentures. Try-in fittings might be required to ensure that best fit is obtained. And, the final denture is then going to be fixed in its place.
