The tissue grafting is done to cope with receding gums and restore gums to a certain level. In this process, tissues are taken from one area of the mouth to be place on the receding area. The treated area is given time to heal and dentist would provide right guidelines to be followed when taking rest. As soon as gingival graft is healed, treated gums are back to normal functioning. The roots are bones connected with the gums are also restored to their normal functioning.
